Things to Know Before Applying for a Higher Limit
- If you own multiple Axis Bank Credit Cards , keep in mind that you share your credit limit across all cards. For instance, if your overall limit is INR 1,00,000 and you hold two cards, each card will have an individual limit of INR 1,00,000.
- Suppose you spend INR 90,000 on Card A, leaving INR 10,000 available credit. Regardless of Card B having no transactions, the shared limit remains at INR 10,000 for either card. The total customer limit is not separate for each card but is same across all.
- If you have one Axis Bank Credit Card and apply for another, the same limit as applicable on the first card will be on the second one. However, if you consent to a higher limit during the second card, the revised limit will apply to all cards.
- Axis Bank reserves the right to review and adjust (either increase or decrease) the credit limits on your card(s) periodically. As part of this review, you may receive limit enhancement offers with a specific validity period. If you accept such offers, the limit applies to all your Axis Bank Credit Cards.
- Any credit limit increase is contingent on explicit customer consent. If you agree to the enhancement offer, it will processed across all your credit cards held by the bank. It’s important to note that the credit limit increase is subject to real-time checks and processes within 3 working days from the date of the request.
Understanding these terms and conditions ensures transparency and clarity regarding how credit limits are across multiple Axis Bank Credit Cards. Keeping these guidelines in mind will help you make informed decisions and effectively manage your credit across various cards issued by Axis Bank.
