SBI Credit Card announced that they are going to revise charges on rent payments. However, the new charges will be imposed from 17 March 2023. Therefore, the new charges will not be applied until March 17, 2023. According to an official announcement sent to its cardholders via email and SMS, the SBI card’s processing fees will increase.

Additionally, the rates would remain the same before that. According to the notice of the bank, the rent payment transactions using SBI credit cards will be changed only from 17 March 2023. Read down below to have a brief about the official statement.

Revised Rent Payment transactions Fee on SBI Credit Card

There are many customers who use a credit card to pay their monthly house rent. It is because this is the most convenient way to do so. However, earlier using the credit card of SBI to pay rent cost you INR 99+ taxes as a processing fee.

Further, after the official statement of SBI now you have to pay INR 199+ taxes as processing fees on rent payment transactions. However, this will come into effect on 17 March 2023. The bank has revised the rates of rent payment transactions.

Previously, SBI Cards and Payment Services revised rates for SimplyCLICK Cardholders from January 2023. According to the official website of SBI, the redemption of vouchers and Reward Points for the SimplyCLICK Credit Card had been updated.
