UIDAI stands for Unique Identification Authority of India and it was established in the year 2009. The main objective of UIDAI is to give identity to Indian citizens after collecting their biometric and demographic details. After collecting the details of the Indian Citizen, it issues a 12 digits unique number that is known as the Aadhar Number. The headquarters of UIDAI is in Manesar and it has issued more than 125 crores Aadhaar until now. It has also done more than 4000 crores Aadhaar authentication for Indian Citizens.
